Item Description: Grey F250 HD, 351 (5.8L) gas engine, C6 automatic transmission, 2wd, standard cab, long bed with a nice tool box.
The truck has nice aluminum wheels and good 10 ply tires. This truck is a tough as nails and needs a good home.
The bad:
The brake booster is blown out internally. For anyone that knows anything about them, you know what this means, for those that don't.... it's a bit if a pain in the butt to change with a hurt back...which I have. A reman booster for the HD trucks is less than $100 to buy with a warranty. The diaphragm internally blowing out will do two things...it'll jack up the idle with a fluctuating vacuum leak and it'll make the brakes real hard. So, it has those issues. It's only other issue is it also has a cracked windshield.
The Good:
The truck is complete, really good interior especially for its age, no rust holes even in the bed, just some surface rust from it being used as a truck. It is wearing its original paint, that is not primer. Its only "wrecks" were a honda ripped its side off on the bumper leaving a bit of paint behind...it didnt even move the bumper, no damage at all. One deer strike, but it went under the truck and I just had to hose the blood off, no damage there either. I've pulled and stopped some serious loads with this truck and I'll hate to see her gone.
She belonged to my best friend and I've used this truck a lot over the years. He's going through some stuff and sold it to me and I am selling it off now myself as I have too many things, have a hurt back, and I need to move. There is no room for it at the new house.
