Item Description: Hey Guys, I am in need a a Colt Python specialist. I am trying to help a friend who wants to sell (2) 1979 Colt Pythons. Both are “V” prefix and the serial numbers are 7 digits apart. Both are polished nickel with 6” barrels. Both come in factory "LEATHERETTE" presentation cases. He has the original purchase receipt too. He claims both are factory engraved which is supported by the leatherette cases which only came from the Custom Shop. His words are that one is “A” engraved and one is “B” engraved. He inherited them from his dad. He has fired 6 rounds out of each revolver. Call Tom 404-427-5275. Best of luck on getting the information your friend is looking for, shouldn't be a problem. He can get a factory letters on both of them indicating they had been engraved by the Colt custom shop and not bought and then sent of to an engraver, even if the bill of sale states they are engraved, but they look authentic, with the original leather like case. I bet an expert Colt collector could look at them and tell you who engraved it at the Colt Custom Shop. Keep us informed.

Yeah, those matching serial number Boas were the coolest guns I have ever come across. It was very hard to let them go. As for the kidney offer, I might consider a kidney and some boot!! lol. I am out of town this weekend but should be able to show them any day next week. I will keep every one posted.
