If there was a way to PROVE that some parent wasn't being a "douche" I'd give a kid a 325 pack of Federal Automatch.

Unfortunately, most parents with young shooters probably already have a stash of ammo because if they don't they are crappy parents, or already are douches, but I'll trust someone's judgement if the word comes from someone I already trust.

I'll even ship it.

During "The Great Neckbeard Panic of 2013" I'd keep bricks of Eley Target or Remington Thunderbolts in the car. If I was at a shop where a kid couldn't get but a little baggie of ammo, I'd ask the shopkeep if it was okay if I gave them some .22s, or at the range when the kids would run out of ammo, I'd give their dad a brick. The smiles of those kids was worth WAY more than the $15 - $20 I'd paid for the ammo.
