Item Name: FS 303 rounds of .45 auto (Federal SYNTECH x 270; PRVI/PPU x 33) for $80 (26.4 cpr)
Location: Marietta, GA
Zip Code: 30067
Item is for: Sale Only
Sale Price: $80
Caliber: .45 ACP
Willing to Ship: No
Bill of Sale Required?: No
Item Description: Hey gang,
I have accumulated some .45 that I am not digging, and I'll make it abundantly clear why in this post (just in case). All of this ammo is brand-new .45 ACP, but there are three bullet weights for sale.
You don't have to read all of this post, but I'm only saying why I'm selling it all to avoid any grievance.
— SOLD AS A LOT, NOT WILLING TO SPLIT —
— if you want the red MTM ammo containers, please add $5, otherwise I'll separate the ammo that isn't in retail boxes into their own cardboard boxes —
PPU 185 grain semi-jacket hollow point — 33 rounds
- This one is tricky and may well be limited to this box of 50, because I know the other box of 50 (same everything) I bought chambered just perfectly in my Dan Wesson Valor, but for some reason, this box didn't. Instead of fighting it on each shot, I'm just looking to sell the rest. I originally bought 100 rounds in 185 grain just to see if the recoil was noticeably different from my usual 230 grain. I didn't discern any tangible difference.

The below two Federal Premium SYNTECH offerings I am selling for the same reason: they were too flashy, that is, I saw pronounced flash that I never saw with the PMC .45 FMJ I usually use. I don't know why they flashed so much, but I'm just going to stick with regular ol' FMJs for now. The SYNTECH rounds are supposed to be cleaner-burning, though.....
Federal Premium 220 grain SYNTECH (low recoil competition) — 90 rounds
- As described above, they're too flashy. I will say, however, that the recoil in a 1911 is a lot less actually with this load and it's pretty dang pleasant.

Federal Premium 230 grain SYNTECH (not low recoil, not marketed as competition) — 180 rounds
- Same story as the 220 grain load, but this is not marked as low recoil nor competition
