Item Description: S&W 629 Stainless Steel revolver with 4” semi-lug barrel. Elmer Keith thought a 4” barrel 44 mag was hard to beat, and I agree! Yes I know I am going out on a limb agreeing with Elmer about a 44. You can have those 10” barrels with full under lug that require a bi-pod. This 44 is gorgeous and practical. Carry it hiking, camping, hunt with it, use it for self defense, it will do it all quite well. I purchased this gun NEW several years back and have shot about 20 rounds through it. It has box, docs, lock, and unopened shell casings from S&W. You have worked hard now don’t you deserve to play hard?
