per the questions whether this is a coated or solid frame.....i called glock. its not a factory unit. called the gun store i just bought it from a few weeks ago and they say its a lipseys unit, which means it solid colored plastic not coated.

Just because it’s a Lipsey’s, doesn’t mean it has a solid color frame. The color of the backstraps are a good indicator. If it’s not a factory color, it’s probably coated
