Item Description: Here is a chance to own a nice Type 38 Arisaka Carbine. These rifles were issued to "second line" troops such as calvary, artillery, and support units.
This rifle was scrubbed, but in good condition overall, with a shiny bore and a buttery smooth action. Bolt is matched to itself.
This rifles serial number is in the 200,xxx range, with no series mark, and was produced at the Koishikawa (Tokyo) arsenal. Meaning this rifle was one of the first produced before the new serial system was introduced in 1933.
