You may want to post the serial number. It will tell the year it was manufactured. Good looking gun.
where is the serial number located lol ? I'm a rookie when it comes to guns. I have more pictures of some of the fine print of the gun where it says it was made in Belgium I could send those if you would like

The serial number is located on the underneath side of the gun just in front of where the shells go into it. Also, where the barrel goes into the receiver on the left side you'll see some symbols (*$- ext.). This is how Browning displayed the choke. You can simply take a picture or post those symbols. Depending on the age of the gun it will also state the barrel length. Judging from your picture I would guess it's a 26", most likely made in the early 70's. Also, take a picture of the bottom/underneath side of the forearm. If the barrel nut wasn't tight they have a bad habit of cracking. Great looking gun, my vote is you keep it. Even though A5's are down in the market right now the value will only go up...and more importantly so will the sentimental value. In the meantime keep the metal sprayed down with WD-40 or your favorite gun oil.
