Looks like someone got to polishing with something just a little too strong, so the finish has some high spots in it. I've preserved what I could with Renaissance wax..and a lot of time. Still a great shooter, beautiful colt grips with the gold medallions. These old Colts are getting harder and harder to find, and are investments.
