It was built to test out the new APEX gunsmith fit barrels and they are amazing. It truly makes the M&Ps surgical. The barrel was fit by the gunsmiths at GA Firing Line. They won't past the install unless the gun will shoot a sub 2" group at 25yds free hand. The apex trigger and trijicon night sights where also installed by the gunsmiths at GA Firing Lines well .
