Item Description: 1974 case hardened Winchester 1894 in 3030 with saddle ring and nice peep sight. Looking to sell but may trade. Minor wear to the finish in the usual places but it’s a great looking gun.

Thank you, I don’t agree with having to purchase rights (permits, licenses, etc) either but I like to have peace of mind just in case.

Please enlighten us with your definition of the word "antique". Under the 1968 gun control act, an "antique" is either manufactured pre-1898 or designed designed for black powder only. Antiques are exempt from the 1968 GCA laws and can be shipped intrastate, by mail with no FFL/ATF involvement...... more or less, here is a link:

I’m pretty sure this model is called the “antique” model due to it being color case hardened with brass accents and engraving. Couldn’t find a whole lot of info on it.
