If you’re looking for an analog driving experience… This is an analog driving experience. Manual transmission, manual steering, no ABS, no airbags. It is more funner this way.

I’ve been through this car thoroughly and done tons of restoration and maintenance to it. Anything that wasn’t in good shape or was leaking was replaced. I went full OCD making the car super nice because I was daily driving it to work. But now I have a company vehicle and It doesn’t get driven much.

This year I went through and did all of the front engine seals including cam and balance shaft seals and new oil pump drive gear. New timing belt and balance shaft belt. (Re-tensioned after 1500 miles - good to go) New o rings on the AOS, new injector o rings, new intake gaskets. All new silicone vacuum hoses. New ignition components, new distributor cap, rotor, wires, new plugs. New fuel lines. New fuel pressure regulator. Lindsay racing catch can. New rear cam housing gasket. New alternator. New starter. New climate control unit, new dash clock. New head unit. New door speakers. Reupholstered factory recaro seats. New hatch struts, new hood struts. New bumper pads. New exhaust. New Yokohama Advan tires. New Led Holley retrobright headlights. New battery. New washer pump. New wipers. New solid state DME relay with diagnostics. New solid state fan relay. New window tint 20% sides 5% hatch. New rennline sunroof latches. New hood insulation pads. New parking brake pads. New sway bar bushings. New momo prototipo 370mm steering wheel. The list goes on.

I’m extremely anal about my vehicles. I only run ethanol free fuel in this car as it was intended to. I run 20w50 castrol gtx with zddp additive to bring the zinc levels up to approximately 1500ppm which is as close as possible to the original spec factory oil that Porsche originally called for but the modern oils have removed or lowered these levels.

I also have the specialty tools to work on the car, and I will pass them along to the new owner at no cost so you can continue to maintain and enjoy this car as it should be.

Factory power steering in these cars is notorious for leaks, even after a rebuild, and they provide very little assistance. I removed the power steering and built a manual steering rack out of (new) VW and Toyota parts. New swaybar bushings. Koni shocks. It is currently riding on some 17” staggered RG reps. 225 front 255 rear Yokos. The car handles like a dream.

Tons of spare parts come with this car. The complete factory power steering rack and rebuild stuff if you want to rebuild it and go back to power rack. Factory phone dial wheels with good tires on them. Factory spare tire and jack etc

The battery tray is in perfect shape, hatch is solid, sunroof works perfectly, body seals and drains are all good. Heat and ac both work. A/c does effect the cars performance so I hardly use it but it works.

The car needs nothing mechanically, it very reliable and fun. It turns heads and starts conversations.

It is not a perfect car, it has an older respray that looks pretty good but you can find rock chips and a few dents and dings in the body. A little body work and paint and it would be nearly perfect. There is a rust bubble under the driver side taillight and a few rust spots w small holes in the driver fenders where a bunch of crud was allowed to accumulate, it’s not getting any worse and could easily be repaired.

Feel free to reach out with any questions or if you’d like to look at the car.

Asking 10,500

Delivery can be negotiated, I have a race trailer and I can fit all the spare parts in with it.

Boy does this car bring back some memories. As a kid, both my brothers shared a Porsche 924 in high school, which basically was the little brother model to the 944. Lots of memories for sure. Great looking Porsche here for sure. Hope you find it a good home! GLWS.
