Item Description: Colt Sauer Rifle, made in W. Germany 1974. This is a premium rifle made to compete with the worlds finest rifles. It is the Colt Python of rifles complete with the Royal Blue finish. These were discontinued only because Colt had more in manufacturing Cost than market would bear. This is a super shooting .270 that honestly has been a safe queen. Smoothest action you will ever try. Has had about 100 rounds thru it since new.

Many gun enthusiast have never seen one let alone tried the action.

Scope is NOT included. Colt mount and rings are included.

Oh my, I have been Jones'ing for one of these for many years. A few years ago I was in Burnet Texas and stopped at a gun store and they had 3 of them on the wall same price as yours, maybe a bit more.

That is a fine rifle and I will be chewing my bottom lip on this.

I wanted one since 1974 when I bought my first hunting rifle. Ended up with the Remington 700 due to price. Got this one several years ago, sighted it in when I added a scope and not fired it since. Beautiful and fantastically engineered rifle. Super smooth.

Through the years I have regarded the Colt Sauer as being in a league by itself, sure there are finer rifles, the Winchester Super Grade for instance is as fine as they come outside of custom guns but those Colts are equal to or better than the Winchester guns for build quality and fit and finish. They are just superb guns.

I can't imagine selling it.
