Item Description: (PRICE DROP) Up for sale is my Chinese Type 53 Mosin Nagant. It’s a Frankenstein mosin that has a Monte Carlo style stock. I used an AK47 side scope mount for the optic. Is it ugly... yes. Does it work... yes. It’s got a Simmons pistol scope mounted so that the long eye relief works out in the “scout sniper” layout. The rail is mounted above the irons so they can be used at the same time. It was painted with a brown blend of Rustoleum protective paints. Has a very clean born and action. No it’s not numbers matching just a fun project gun that makes a big impact. Does come with original wood stock that appears that wild beavers and tigers and bears all had their hands on. Will take cash or trades on a nice scope.
