Item Description: I purchased the Daewoo DP51 in the early 90’s. Low serial number 12xxx. It is in very good condition, low round count, and very accurate.

It is a compact, lightweight pistol with a trigger mechanism called "fast action". The "fast action" trigger mechanism allows the hammer to be decocked while still keeping the mainspring compressed. A light pull on the trigger causes the hammer to flick back, after which the pistol would behave in conventional single-action (SA) mode.

The pistol can also be fired in conventional single- and double-action (DA) modes. The "fast action" mode allows the trigger travel of DA mode and the trigger weight of SA mode. This allows a more accurate first shot due to the lighter weight of the trigger.

The factory magazines hold 13 rounds.

The pistol also has an ambidextrous safety and three-dot sights.

It is also equipped with a firing pin block which (as its name implies) blocks the firing pin from moving forward unless the trigger is pulled.

Included are:

2 13 round mags

50 rounds of Winchester 147 gr. JHP

Generic Tupperware case

Uncle Mike’s holster

I need to take a look at your GADL/GWCL

DP51 owners sure love their pistols. I shot one decades ago; the first "DA", which really didn't feel like DA at all, was interesting; IMHO, I equate the first pull like a Kahr trigger in length but substantially easier to squeeze and with a follow up short, short SA reset and clean break. Intriguing to say the least. :)
