Item Description: Today I’ve decided to part ways with my M39 as I have one too many. This one shoots amazing, and has great character. It has no cracks in any of the wood and the bore is dark but very sharp rifling. It is a Sako model of 1942. Most likely used in the Finnish Continuation war with Russia. If this gun could talk folks! Wanting 800$ OBO. PM any offer, worst I can say is no thanks! I will trade for milsurp of value with cash on either end. Thanks guys!

I just checked on my M39 (1944 VKT) and it has that same dot matrix serial number placed on the receiver. The importers have to place a serial number on the receiver. Mosin's, as produced from the factory only had a serial number placed on the barrel shank which is not part of the receiver, it's the barrel. The dot matrix serial added to the receiver is normal and not a big deal.
