Just a comment for the 357 SIG caliber on a positive side... for those of us who have shot 40 caliber and love it, we have adjusted to the characteristics of muzzle flip and recoil impulse of that round. You may have or have not shot the 357 SIG caliber, but the recoil characteristics for this hotter round is not a muzzle flip, but a firm push back into your hand. I find that with the 357 SIG caliber I can reacquire my sight picture faster and more efficiently than with the 40 caliber. Also, the penetration aspects of the 357 SIG caliber are quite admirable... IMHO...
