common sense really. I'm not selling it to a convicted felon. Covering my ass saying I sold it to a legal gun owner with my name and information along with there name and information.

Someone asking me to sell them a item without a bill of sale. Makes me question why they want the gun, and intentions. I don't really see the problem with a bill of sale and any legal gun owner shouldn't have a issue with it.

Unless you are running a background check, you still dont know who you are selling too. I am not opposed to showing my carry permit, but I am opposed to a complete stranger having my personal info written down to do with as said stranger sees fit. What assurance can you give a buyer as to the security of that personal info ?

I'm not asking for you social and all the good stuff I'm asking for your id to say who you say you are or permit just saying I sold the gun to you not asking for name and date of birthday and social and address get real. Ever bought a car?

Unnecessary technical bull crap. If you have a permit that is fine the bill of sale is your name and guns serial number that's it! Saying I sold the gun to you and you bought it from me. Plain and simple.
