Item Description: I have a nice example of a JM stamped presafety Marlin in 444. It is in good condition and comes with 36 rounds of 240 grain soft points. As per the serial number it was made in 1971.It shoots and functions fine. It does not have the original butt plate and has one chip in the forearm stock as shown in the pics. The blueing is in great shape with one small area with light freckle at the end of the barrel on the right side. Could not get it to show up in pic. As far as trades go I like Marlin levers in 30/30, 35 and 44. Maybe something in 308 or an ar 15 or a Henry lever gun. Or if you have something to offer let me know. If your gun is less in value will need cash or extras to make up the difference.
