Trade Value or Items Looking For: WASR AK, 5.56 AR, 10/22 threaded barrel
Caliber: 7.62x54r
Willing To Ship: No
Bill of Sale Required: No
Item Description:
Up for sale is a Type 53 that I've refinished personally with Red Mahogany Minwax stain and Birchwood-Casey Tru-Oil. The finish is very nice with the only caveat being it is not perfectly smooth in just a few places, but the majority of the stock is perfect. It was my first refinish and I'm very proud of it, but I just don't shoot my Mosins anymore. This thing has been sitting for almost a year. The bolt is tarnished but does not affect functionality. The bolt feel is pretty typical for Mosins- takes some effort to work it. As is common on the Chinese rifles, the bluing is worn in places. The bore is dark but the rifling is crisp and the gun shoots minute of 16.9 oz water bottle at 25 yards easily. The sling is included. I have put probably 100 rounds through it (if that) and always cleaned out with water and CLP after shooting corrosive. These rifles have been going up in price over the past couple years, so if you're thinking about getting one, just do it now- whether it's mine or someone else's!
I can add ammo for 20 cents/round up to about 250ish rounds.
Unfortunately, I can add no more than $300 toward my listed trades.
Thanks for looking.
