Not to mention that this 1911 is gorgeous!
did you coat it with anything after you finished? i had an RIA once that i tried this on and ended up reparkerizing it because any moisture at all that got to it would make it rust like crazy. had to constantly keep it drenched in oil to keep it from rusting.
I havnt had a problem with it....I may just hitn it with a clear cerakote if I keep it.....but as of now it shows zero idications of rusting.....I've actually had more problems out of my blued guns rusting....
I can ceracoat it midnight blue.....which is very close to the blueing color....or if you buy the colors you want I will do it for free.
