Item Description: Up for grabs is a smith and wesson .38 hamerless special model 642-1 airweight that I got from a buddy in a trade deal. Gun functions perfectly, but does have some finish imperfections/clean up work needed. I figured it would make a great truck gun or???

What happened to the finish? Define "clean up work needed"

Just clean and all that stuff rubs off? Or refinishing work needed?

I cleaned some of it off last night. I would say that most will not come off with basic cleaning. So it may need refinish work if desired.
