Polymer. The same gun with full metal construction would be a lot more more solid and would be more pleasurable to shoot but for some reason they decided to construct it mainly of polymer. The frame of the gun is metallic tho. I think the reason they did it this way was to make it a lot lighter to carry which is of course nice. But when you go to shoot .410 out of it, it is quite a strong kick, and so I know where you're coming from in asking its material composition.
