Item Description: Looking for some info guys? Left to me by my grandfather. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Values on these are all over the place. Haven’t seen but 1 with this type rear sight. May be willing to trade for the right trade or sale??

Receiver was built in 1915, she started out her life as a USGI 30-06 rifle. Looks like the barrel has been replaced and stock has been cut down, prob done post-war for use as a hunting rifle. The rear sight was prob changed out at the same time. The bolt might be modified also, kind of hard to tell from the angle in your pic. Should make a nice hunting rifle if you’re not recoil-sensitive. She’s prob very accurate.
