AFAIK, you can find crescent serrations on 17,19,22 and 23 RTF2s
the only one i seen the slide has the curved markings in it, maybe im wrong, have been before
I believe it's actually an RTF1. I just bought a used RTF2 and took it to Glock for a check-up. The armorer there was telling me that the RTF1s had the straight serrations and a more aggressive texture. The texture was toned down slightly for the RTF2, and the "fishgill" serrations were added.

No such thing as rtf1. All the rough texture frames before the gen4 were rtf2's. They just made some models with fish gills and some without....

RTF1 is the standard Gen 3 glock RTF2 was made for a rougher design which was discontinued after the Gen 4s were made. The RTF2 came with both style of serrations gills and straight.
The grip is pretty rough that was one of the reasons I bought it.

There is a lot of inaccurate information being tossed around in this thread.
First, the gun that is listed is a Glock 19 RTF2. The RTF designator has nothing to do with the slide serrations. Early on when Glock first released the RTF2 series of pistols they sold them with curved slide serrations. These were purely a cosmetic feature and as it was discovered actually reduced the ability to easily pull the slide back. Glock soon saw the error of their ways and began selling the RTF2 series of guns with the straight slide serrations that are normally found on Glock pistols. These guns in my personal opinion are some of the best pistols Glock has every produced. They were serious combat pistols, no frills, no creature comfort, just pure fighting pistol. As they should be. The request for these pistols originally came from the elite unit, 1st SFOD-D (Delta Force). They wanted a .40 S&W pistol with an aggressive grip, high capacity and smooth trigger. Glock responded with the RTF2 texture (there are three textures Glock offers but I will get to that in a moment). A Glock 22 RTF2 with a minus dot connector (a true 3.5LB connector), and custom FDE magazines. These pistols have been discussed in length on other sites so I wont do it here.
Glock has since discontinued the RTF2 series of guns for now. They are still available for contract order from Glock and at least one agency has ordered the RTF2 frame since it's discontinuation. The Arkansas state police police ordered Glock 21 SF's with the RTF2 frame. Some of the over run of this contract were sold to the public in limited quantities. Every now and then one will pop up for sale on here. RTF stands for Rough Textured Frame. Gen 1 glocks had a "pebble grain" texture that was somewhat smooth and didn't offer much in the way of traction for the shooters hand. Currently, Glock offers three different frame textures. The RTF1 which can be found on Gen 2 and Gen 3 Glocks. The RTF2 which is very limited and so far has only been found on Gen 3 pistols. Then finally there is the RTF3 which can be found on Gen 4 models. Glock came up with the RTF3 frame texture as a middle ground between the RTF1 and RTF2 textures. One of the biggest complaint's about the RTF2 series is it's aggressive grip. In my opinion this is it's best feature. I like the way the texture goes all the way up the grip and into the thumb rest area. This changes how this pistol feels entirely. Having carried a Glock 19 RTF2 for years I can tell you it's can be uncomfortable at times, however it's grip and the way it sticks to your hand makes that small issue moot to me. For some reason here the gills seem to draw more of a crowd. My opinion of the gills is others can have them. I like the straight slide serrations. The RTF2 is a serious pistol and the straight slide serrations just make sense. Hopefully Glock will get their act together and start producing this series again for the public. I would really like the RTF2 texture on a Gen 4.
