Item Description: Big time price reduction !!! It's a 1944 Inland Division of GM M-1 Carbine & 1 mag. Barrel & receiver markings indicate this is a WWII manufactured carbine; the roll mark (Alexandria, VA???) is so small a jeweler's loupe is required to see it. That mark and the stock markings indicate a weapon that saw service in Korea.
Barrel marked Inland Div 9-44
Trigger hsg. grp marked "SG" (Saginaw?)
Bolt marked "SG"
Hammer marked "WA" (Winchester?)
Inside the op-rod well marked "U" (Underwood?)
Barrel is bright and shiny; rifling strong w/ no signs of rust or pitting.
Rear sight stamped I.R. Co.,7160060; bayo. lug: "S"
Stock has been through it's share but no cracks.
