Yes, the FSP is marked F. The barrel is marked with FN's cage code "3S679"; some were marked with that cage code while others had "FNMI". I don't exactly know what "cuts behind the flash hider" means, but by that description I think it does.

The barrel profile get slightly thinner right behind the muzzle, like a step down. From the pictures it appears it does. I’m really interested in the upper receiver with barrel, im looking to buy just that without the lower or carry handle. I wouldn’t expect a discount, I’d pay the full asking price for just the upper and barrel
