Item Description: My first Marlin. I took it out hunting twice and brought it back to save it. I normally hunt with a Savage 270. This is a beautiful piece of work no matter how much Ruger tries to improve upon it. I was going to give it to my son but he preferred an AR. I told him he doesn't know what he is missing. This gun has been oiled and cleaned and well taken care of. I had a gunsmith change all the springs to Wolff for better stability and he did a little trigger work so it would shoot better. Since Ruger and Walmart took over these things have shot up in value. I will ship if you pay the freight. Price is $880 firm.
