That's a great deal on the rifle alone. I have a cherry 1966 Marlin 336 and the quality is far and away above the ones they sell now for about the same price. It amazes me so many are afraid of a nice GA roadtrip to get a good deal on here.

I will see you and raise you two years and two bad legs/hip beyond repair. In my youth, I have driven farther than that just to get laid...not at all a sure thing in the late 50's...early 60.
