i went to the winchester sight and put in the first two numbers tell the year which is 26 that means 71 jis the month and it came out 1971

the sight could have been wrong i thought the same thing to be honest but the rifle is like new call me lets talk and we can probally figure this both out 404 271 8892

dame i hope so i just found out also it is a waffle top and it does have jm on the barrel 1952 would be great if thats the case did they make the rc back then

The Winchester site will not tell the date of manufacture on a Marlin rifle

you are rite it was made in 1952 i just found out and it is a waffle top and it has jm stamped it has a j starting serial number it was made in 52 damn glad i cought that
