Item Description: I am selling my daughter's 2002 4WD Jeep Grand Cherokee. It currently has about 173,000 miles on it. So far this year I have replaced:tires, transfer case, radiator, water pump, thermostat, expansion block valve(?), cooling fan, condensing unit(?). The brakes and AC compressor was done last year. I'm sure there is more, but it is too painful to think about. My mechanic say it is currently losing coolant and may need a head gasket.
Now that she is out of college and earning her own money she has gotten her own car and I am not putting another penny in this one.
It has a couple of dings, but is in generally good shape. The interior is in great shape. I thought I would post it here before it hits Craigslist. My daughter is supposed to take some pictures for the ad, so if you're interested let me know and I'll see what I can do.

I have several Jeeps and I buy and sell some. I will tell you if it dont make you mad that you are asking way to much for it. Its a 1500-2k car at the most ready to ride. At the most. Minus $800-$1000 to fix it if the head has to come off. I just bought a nice one like yours ready to drive 4wd in L6;the most sought after running gear. $1200

Ok, here are some pics for those of you who asked. And those of you who didn't. And those of you who didn't realize how much you want something to work on. And the rest of you.

Help me find a vehicle!

For my own knowledge, how would antifreeze be lost out the tail pipe if it's not in the oil?

I can only go by what I see and what the mechanic tells me. The oil isn't milky looking. As it was explained to me, the head gasket can be bad, allow coolant into the combustion chamber, and blow it out the tail pipe.
I feel smarter just typing that.

Well, my daughter listed this on Craigslist and her only hit has been from a sailor stationed overseas who wants to buy it for his son and will send somebody to pick it up after she gets his check. She was a tad disappointed when I told her it was a scam.
I've lowered the price to $2000.00 to see if I can prod one of y'all off the fence.
