Two years ago, I was looking for a play set so I have some experience on the subject. Info overload...
I wound up finding one here. Best deal I've made on the ODT. It is awesome to have something for the kids to jump around on right in the back yard. Friends and neighbors always love it too. I had to pressure wash it, re-stain it, and even rebuild part of it. All time well spent for the deal I got.
When I was looking for a play set, I looked at the pirate ship kits. They are all awesome, but expensive as heck.

If you're worried about your HOA, send in a letter asking permission to install a play set. Don't describe it in too much detail, just give the footprint dimensions (add that to your description, OP). That's what I did and I never heard a peep from the HOA. If you're really really worried, send a picture of it with your request.
GLWS, if it was here two years ago, it'd be on the top of my list to get.
EDIT: also, you can find play set parts (slides, swings, rock wall things) on CL if you want to add to this thing.
