Item Description: For sale is a Turkish Gew 88/05/38 project rifle. This started life as a Gew 88 supplied to the Turks by Germany during the First World War. In the 1930s, the Turks began an extensive rebuild project of all small arms in their arsenals. This model was rebuilt to 'standardize. Fitted with an 8mm/7.92 barrel, and M30/38 stocks.
The receiver on this has been cut away for some reason, and from what I can see, that's all it needs. Bore is very good. Make a great winter project!
