Item Description: Remington 700 PSS in 308 Win. HS Precision stock which has been professionally bedded to the action. 20 moa 2 pc scope base will go with rifle. Rifle is missing 1 sling stud in front and 1 in rear. Was like this when I took ownership and never worried about replacing them.
Bought the rifle off of here years ago for a trainer rifle. I’ve put 40-50 rounds down range since I’ve had it and previous owner told me he thought he was at 3-400 rounds into it when I got it. Rifling and bore is smooth, shiny, and crisp.
I was told the rifle had a 40x trigger in it. Upon inspection I figured out it was a Walker but pull on the trigger is 15.5oz to 1 pound every time. Took it to a gun smith and told me the trigger looked like it had been worked over and spring changed. I’ve slammed the bolt into battery a 100 times and did the butt drop test and the rifle has never went off. I feel safe with the rifle as this is a range gun to me but just be aware that the trigger is light and it is a Walker. Use the thing between your ears and you should be fine.
