I have decided to part with my Ruger .44 Magnum carbine. I know what I have and you know what it is as well, so please save yourself and myself time with no trade offers. Price is firm. I don't have to sell it anytime soon.
So, with that said, this one was shipped from Ruger in 1983 according to the serial number. After nearly 25 years, production was halted in 1985. The bluing is 98-99% and is original! I have refinished the stock with a hand rubbed Linseed Oil/Beeswax/Turpentine mixture. Take a close look at the pictures and you will not find any dings or dents in the original stock. This is rare because most of these fine little rifles have been well used, but keep on plugging along with time. There is a small hairline crease on the right hand side of the stock that is hardly noticeable. I have added a Picatinny rail especially designed to fit the Ruger .44 Magnum carbine, so you can add your choice of optics. I have had a red dot sitting on it and it is a low profile, excellent choice for this classic brush gun. There is a grooved channel in the Picatinny rail that allows the use of the front sight as well. You will be impressed with this one!
