S&W Model 29-3, 4-inch, .44 magnum. Nice and clean. Was my holster gun on some hunting and fishing trips. This has probably the nicest, slickest double action you will ever feel on an N-frame Smith! It started out very good when I bought it from a buddy, and I made it better from there.
It has some mods which fitted it to my particular uses - Hammer and trigger have both been ground narrower, and the face of the trigger polished smooth. The red ramp front sight was replaced with a custom serrated patridge sight by Ikey Starks in Denver. Sharp corners of the rear sight radiused. Chamber mouths have been very lightly countersunk to ease reloading, and it's wearing a Houge Monogrip with an Indian Head nickle.
