Marked Cotter & Company.
Manufactured by Marlin for a hardware store in Chicago.
This is a rare rifle. Only Marlin made with brass saddle ring and pistol grip.
All other Marlins with a saddle ring were Texans and have a straight stock.
Walnut stock and fore end.
