Item Description: I am selling this M1 Garand, not really interested in any trades. I am not fully versed in all the technical details so I will be upfront and say I don’t know that the bore or throat erosion is, and I don’t know what drawing numbers are what. I do know that it is a 6 digit serial number and according to what I found on the National Park Service Springfield Armory page, that puts manufacture date at around early December 1941.
There is pitting on the receiver but the gun runs. I dumped several clips of 30-06 into it and she ate them all and spit them at the steel plate down range hitting it each time. It is well used but still good. I have only shot 150 grain light hand loads in it during my time of ownership.
It will include only one enbloc clip.
