Item Description: Hello, I am selling my Springfield M1A. I've got a few and can't justify keeping another one especially one I have not fired (found something else I want too lol). I do not know the history of this rifle. I recently cleaned it and it passes the tilt test. Anyone in the Sparta area that wants to try it out, please let me know and you can come shoot it at the farm.

This one has mostly USGI parts as follows:

SN: 147xxx - has yellow fill in lettering - nope I'm not making any assumptions or assertions as to who may have done this.
Bolt: 7790186-SA F00070
Trigger Group: 7267030-HR-N
Op Rod: 7267064 HRA over 7
Barrel: Non USGI SA NM barrel
Sights: Standard/Non Aperture Rear & NM Front
Stock: Walnut with DOD Cartouche and P acceptance mark
Sling: marked MRT March 1952
Magazine: One nothing special 20 rounder.

If you want more pictures or have questions please let me know.

$1,350 and no trades please. Meet must be local to me preferably at the old Gander Mountain in Lawrenceville late afternoons / early evenings during the week. I have a little more flexibility on the weekends.

Well, I know this guy... Gas plug is drilled to prevent vacuum on piston. Still a fine looking specimen. Someone will be getting a nice one. @TheGman , don't you need a other one? Thought I heard your wife complaining the safe looked empty.
