Item Description: This was another of my Dad’s collection.
Winchester 62A pump action, takedown rifle made in 1952.
Chambered in .22 short, long, and long rifle.
23” barrel, takedown thumb screw on the side.
This rifle still runs like a champ- it absolutely functions.
Finish is still very good for a 67 year old rifle. There is light pitting on the top and bottom tang. It looks worse in the picture than in person.
Also, tiny dots of rust will form on the trigger guard and on top of the barrel between the pump and the receiver (where Dad always put his hand when he carried it in the field) if you don’t keep it oiled.
