if it wasn't 3006 I would take it but rechanbering it wouldn't destroy the value not that anythings wrong with the 30.06 cal VERY NICE I do have a 90s ruger m77 hawkeye chambered for 270 if your interested I wouldn't even think about parting with it but that's a m70 Humhu
