I think what you meant to say is that the red dot mount allows use of iron sights. "Co-witness" means that red dot and iron sights are on the same plane and the dot lines up with the sights.

Yeah, it is not on the same plane, you can still use the iron sights by looking underneath the red dot...
I stated in my original post that the original furniture comes with it, I guess he was trying to be humorous. I never noticed his avatar until you said something but I got a good laugh out of it.
