Item Description: older Adult looking for venues to metal detect farms , old homes , anything , etc fellow enthusiasts I live in NORTH WEST GA. . Older guy here only a few years left to dig lol . Help me out nice guy . Civil war stuff , relics lost by family around estates public or private , no Government owed areas . Maybe you lost something ?

Relic hunting & good Sites are tuff to find these days , + property owners trust no one ( barely ) .

Is that an old 'Flat Button " ? Nice Guild on it . Silver Q's are always great & the Tootsie Toys indicate an older site '1950'+ .

In NW GA hit the woods & watch out for Hunters .

Thanks , yes it’s tough find stuff at my go to is but can’t get on any land people don’t trust mostly pre construction sights don’t bother me just need 1 big property with history where u located

I hear ya .

Construction sites were good to me up till 2019 , now most places are fenced off , & where I leave cards or ask at soon to be developed sites , I get no , or never get a call back or e-mail .
Then a month or 2 later ,Trees are gone along with up to 15 feet of top soil , it makes no sense .

I'm in Acworth but closer to Woodstock , there is one site they are clearing actually 2 but they are posted ( posted mostly to protect equipment & illegal dumping ) So ?

I'm a bit I'll about the whole detecting Situ , there were places I'd often go & knew the same Box Turtles ,Deer , / wildlife just for them to be clear cut & built on & as for my critter friends ? well I only have pictures left .

I'm also in acworth I work in the construction industry most developers are not going to let anyone detect cause they see it as a lawsuit waiting to happen
