Item Description: Does anyone have or know of any 300 prc ammo or brass. I’ll buy or trade for. I bought a gun from barrow auto I butler ga. A bergara hmr. Tag said 6.5 prc. They said 6.5 prc. Box said 6.5 prc. So I bought it. I wound up finding a little bit of ammo for it so I put a scope on it and went to range. Well at the range when the hammer dropped and nothing happened it hit me. Boy I felt dumb when I automatically looked at the barrel to see 300 prc. So I’m now hunting brass or ammo and another bergara in 6.5 prc

Oh, I see it's another modern high-performance rifle cartridge that I've never heard of until today.

"Typical 300 PRC ballistics are a 212gr bullet at 2,860fps (3,850 ft-lbs) or a 225gr bullet at 2,810fps (3,945 ft-lbs).
Both loads use long, aerodynamic, heavy for caliber bullets that minimize bullet drop and wind drift at extended range.
300 PRC factory loads generally have a muzzle velocity similar to
the .300 Win Mag, but with a heavier bullet with a higher BC."
