This has the potential to be really really bad. I think the chances are slim but then again it really only takes one person slipping through u noticed to infect a lot of people. How many Ebola patients do you think hospitals could really handle at once?

Ha!

None

The case in Dallas proves that

Guy wih Ebola left in ER for 5 hours them sent home

Comes back after he sprays vomit all over neighborhood

Two nurses get it
One goes flying all over the country with it

Nice work from you health care PROfessionals

One goes flying all over the country with it
After CDC cleared her to fly because her fever (which she self-reported to CDC) was not high enough.
More I read about it, more it seems that CDC is purposefully staffed by inept Community Organizers in order to manufacture a crisis.

I think we will be VERY lucky if no one on those flights gets it.

The CDC has been wrong at every single turn about this stuff. And they were stupid enough to let that lady travel-after knowing that she had extensive contact with that first victim before he was put into isolation.

This situation could really get out of hand. That plane made several more flights before it was taken out of service. Potentially hundreds of people could be at risk.

-Once again, another big FAIL from a completely inept and incompetent administration.

(And why the hell are we still allowing unrestricted travel from the affected countries in Africa? All its gonna take is one more guy lying on his travel documents and we will have a full blown trainwreck on our hands!)

Because they are criminal.

Someone please tell me how they were somehow able to impose a travel ban to Israel during the last round of fighting, and they can't block flights coming from these four countries... And everyone knows the ONE rocket landing 1 mile from the airport had nothing to do with Obama issuing the Israeli travel ban.

If only there were more oil in Liberia. We have top notch centers set up and paid for by Chevron instead of the US taxpayer. It'd be totally under control.

So if a person with Ebola at Emory pees and poops and flushes

How long does the germs live and multiply in the pipes ?

Can they live thru the treatment plant and back into the chattahoochee ?

Infect the rats living in the sewer?

This stupid nurse on the plane
Peeing and pooping and dropping a tampon in the toilet

Can the maintenance guys pumping out the holding tank on the plane get it ?

The tanker truck has been located and disinfected?

All the hoses ?

???

We are seeing the beginning of the next apocalypse my friends

Just wait till it mutates and becomes airborne like every other virus

I think it already is transmitable like a common cold or flu

Bu the incompetent morons at the CDC just don't want to admit it

Thankfully there is very little precedent for a virus changing the way it transmits to humans, and I'm pretty sure a major one never has.

Per the CDC:
You can NOT get Ebola riding public transportation if someone else is infected.
Per the CDC:
If you have a fever and have been exposed to an ebola victim do NOT ride public transportation. (Unless of course you are that one nurse.)
Wait... what?
:tsk:

The CDC has repeatedly said that direct exposure equals 3 feet or less for an extended period of time...like a bus ride.

Anyway, who doesn't expect medical professionals to update recommendations as new evidence is uncovered? Should they just stick with the original advice regardless? I'm happy they are constantly tweaking their recommendations. That's what happens when your ego takes a backseat to science.
