Here's a very nice Colt "Agent" double action revolver. Similar to the Colt Detective Special, but made with a lightweight aluminum alloy frame. The cylinder and barrel are steel. This is a "First Issue" Agent with the exposed ejector rod. Chambered for the .38 Special cartridge, it has a 6-shot cylinder and a 2" barrel with serrated ramp front sight. This revolver is fitted with the factory hammer shroud which allows the gun to be carried in the pocket without risk of snagging the hammer when drawing. The shroud is made in such a way that it encloses the hammer yet just enough of the hammer spur is exposed to allow for cocking the hammer in single action fashion. The checkered walnut stocks are in excellent shape as well and are serial numbered to match the gun.
According to the serial number, this nice Colt revolver was manufactured in 1964.
