Selling my 1996 Toyota Land Cruiser 80 Series. I've owned it since 2022 and it's been a great truck. I bought it from a buddy who owned it for several years before me. It runs and drives great. 1FZ-FE engine and center diff lock only. I've done a lot of maintenance on it and will try to list it all below. 295k miles. I will upload more pictures later. Old Man Emu heavy lift. GA title in hand.
New parts -
-Oil changed with Shell Rotella full synthetic and Toyota oil filter
-Coolant flushed and filled with Toyota coolant
-All other fluids either checked or replaced
-AC system completely gone through. New compressor, condenser, evaporator, drier, expansion valve. AC works great
-Blue fan clutch, Aisin water pump, Toyota themostat
-Toyota fuel filter
-Vacuum lines replaced and throttle body / intake cleaned
-Spark plugs and wires
-Valve cover gasket, spark plug gaskets
-Air filter and intake boot
-Pesky Heater Hose replaced along with several other coolant hoses
-Drive belts and Toyota idler pulley
-Power Steering reservoir hoses replaced
-Hood and back hatch shocks
-U-joints greased
-Driver's window motor. All windows work
-Charcoal cannister
-Several oil seals. Front main, oil pump, distributor, oil level sensor. Distributor O-ring still leaks a little bit and may need a new O-ring
Needs attention -
-Needs a front knuckle job. Regular maintenance on these vehicles
-PO did not install caster correction when he did the lift. Still drivable as-is but this makes it pull a little bit when braking at higher speeds. I've driven it like this since I bought it
-Throws an occasional o2 sensor code. Probably once every 1,000 miles
- Has a little bit of rust on the body in a few spots. Passenger side rear quarter panel, one rocker panel, and passenger side front fender has a spot. They can all be fixed or POR-15. Frame and undercarriage are not bad at all
-Sunroof doesn't work. It's closed so I haven't worried about trying to fix it
-Clear coat on hood/roof needs work
It will come with the 35" Toyo tires as seen in the 'Icy' picture. I have a set of 285/75/16 BFG KO2's you can have for a few hundred dollars if you want smaller tires. It does not come with the fly rod vault.
