Item Description: Hello ladies and gents, I am putting up for sale one of my best Ar builds. I wanted to play around with .300 blackout and this is what I came up with. I have shot only 70 rounds down the barrel, other than that it has been a safe queen. All the parts are listed below. I have referenced what each of them is new and priced them with respect to the condition of the firearm and how many rounds I have shot.
I need this gone by Sunday 8/20. Price as stands is $590 and I am NOT OPEN TO TRADES. I am open to negotiate and can meet anywhere from Calhoun to Marietta. A peek at a CCW licence would be nice when selling. THIS IS AN EXCELLENT DEAL!

Hey man just a heads up but a vertical fore grip on a pistol reclassifies it as an AOW. Requires a five dollar tax stamp that can get you prison time if you don't have it. Stupid I know but just looking out. Nice pistol. Gotta really study up on the laws these days when you do a build they can get you for the simplest bs.

Unless the overall length keeps it legal, can't remember what exactly at this time.
I have a 12.5 inch barreled pistol upper that I can, but don't put a VFG on.
Maybe 26 inches OAL?

I thought there may be a gray area there but wasn't sure I personally just prefer not to take the risk... there's so many gray areas these days who knows what the laws are anymore half the time. Thanks for that clarification though, don't want to give a fellow trader the wrong info.

I am pretty sure it is the overall length but there will not be a vertical foregrip on it for purchase lol.

The OAL of 26 inches is measured from the end of the buffer tube (not the brace) to the tip of the barrel (not the muzzle device unless it's permanently attached).
I am not a lawyer or an undercover BATF agent, so you roll your own dice with this one.
OP, sorry to clutter your ad, but hey - free bumps, yeah?

hey man, im cool with it. thanks for the info!

I am actually a lawyer and I can tell you with complete certainty that you may not have a vertical foregrip on a pistol regardless of overall length- the only designation that matters is whether the firearm is a pistol. Just FYI.

Except an AR pistol is not a 'handgun' by the ATF definition, it is a 'firearm', as the original design was not for one hand operation.
That said, I don't even have an AFG on my AR pistol and the ATF could change it's determination without notice.
