Belgium Browning Light Twelve made, of course, in Belgium.

See pics for an idea of what condition it’s in. it’s been used but steel is clean and the wood is polished. slight crack on the wood of the forend but still very much usable. SEE PICS

How can it be a sweet 16 if it is a 12 ga?

Based on the serial number it is a Browning Auto 5 (A5) Light 12 from 1956.

My brother in Christ, it’s either a sweet 16 or a light 12, never both. And judging by the engraving that reads “Light Twelve” I’m gonna go with the latter.
