I prefer the caliber and finish of mine, plus its brand new and includes the scope I purchased with it. I have been offered $1,000 multiple times but am holding out for $1,100 as that is what I have in the rifle/scope.

You won't regret it by switching to a semiautomatic, a lot of the people I hunt with use the same exact rifle the only difference is theirs have the synthetic stocks. They all love them and won't shoot anything else, few of them waisted money to buy bolt action rifles thinking they will use them instead of the R1 but every time they go out to deer and hog hunt they grab the R1.

I do not have the docs or the box that the R1 came in. It has been sitting in the safe since purchased.
